Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

Every new user receives a one-time 3-day free trial with up to 10 AI-powered job applications. No credit card or payment is required during the trial period. Once the trial ends, a paid plan (Career Starter, Pro, or Max) is required to continue using the service — you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Career Pro subscription at any time from within the app. Upon cancellation:

• Your access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the current billing period.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following cases:

• Technical failure: If our service was completely unavailable for more than 48 continuous hours due to our fault during a paid period, you are eligible for a pro-rata refund.
• Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription cycle due to a payment processing error.
• Unauthorized charge: If you did not authorize a subscription charge and report it within 7 days.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

• Dissatisfaction with AI-generated resumes or cover letters (subjective quality is not a basis for refund).
• Not getting hired or receiving job offers (we provide tools, not guaranteed outcomes).
• Forgetting to cancel before the next billing cycle.
• Requests made more than 7 days after the charge date.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at contact@careerguru.net with:

• Your registered email address
• The Razorpay payment/order ID
• Reason for the refund request

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
