Welcome to CareerGuru. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any CareerGuru service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use CareerGuru.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country where you are applying for jobs. By using CareerGuru, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and resume.
• You may not use another person's account or share your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Use of the Service

CareerGuru provides AI-powered job search and auto-application services. You agree to:

• Use the service only for legitimate job-seeking purposes.
• Not submit false, misleading, or plagiarized content in your applications.
• Not use the service to spam employers or violate job portal terms of service.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

5. Subscription & Payments

• Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with 30 AI-powered applications. No payment required during the trial.
• Career Pro: ₹499/month (INR) or $6/month (USD), billed monthly via Razorpay.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store payment credentials.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, AI models, and technology within CareerGuru are owned by Viswamantha Innovations Pvt Ltd. You retain ownership of your resume and personal content. You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

CareerGuru does not guarantee job placement, interview calls, or employment outcomes. The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that AI-generated content (resumes, cover letters) will be error-free or result in job offers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viswamantha Innovations Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of CareerGuru. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting contact@careerguru.net.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
